Which is why there is no banner

Consent is about storing or reading information on your device. Since we do neither, there is nothing to consent to, and a banner asking you to accept cookies would be asking about something that does not happen. We would rather not add a click that means nothing.

Nothing is loaded from anyone else

Every file on this site comes from lumyo.com itself. The typeface is hosted on our own server rather than pulled from Google Fonts, there is no embedded video, no map, no chat widget and no social media button. That matters because a request to another company's server reveals your IP address to them whether or not a cookie is involved. On this site that does not happen.

What the server still sees

Visiting any website means your browser asks a server for a page, and the server records that it did. Our host logs the IP address, the time, the page and the browser used, which is ordinary technical housekeeping rather than tracking. The privacy statement explains how long we keep those logs and why.

If you fill in the form

The demo form sends what you typed to us by email. It stores nothing in your browser, and the request goes to our own server rather than to a form service.

If this ever changes

Should we add something that does store data on your device, we will ask for your consent first, in a way that lets you refuse just as easily as accept, and we will update this page before switching it on.
